To help facilitate a smooth process as we enter this tender space, please read through my pricing structure as well as my policies & terms.
I promise they’re straightforward and easy to understand- no legal jargon here!
Payment Information
You as the client agrees to fully pay for services prior to services beginning. Alternatively, we can arrange a payment plan with agreed-upon dates of payment.
If there are any payment disputes or disagreements, you as the client agree to contact me, Brianna Ostler, BEFORE pursuing other recourse. Disputes or disagreements can include: expectations not met, payment amounts differing, etc.
Terms of Death Doula Services
I will do my best to provide a list of itemized services. However, due to the nature of end-of-life care, this list may not always be provided in totality.
To solve this issue, the client agrees to an hourly rate. The client is responsible for the upfront payment of agreed-upon service and estimated service hours. This will secure the hourly “services package.”
Policy for Unused Service Hours
Due to the nature of death doula work, sometimes, hours are left unused. Any unused hours will be refunded to the client upon request.
If the client does NOT request a refund and/or if they abandon the hours, Brianna Ostler will retain the unused funds.
The client has 30 days to request a refund. After 30 days have passed without a documentable request, the hours become non-refundable.
